Our Therapists

We work as a team and hold each other in high regard. The culture of our clinic is supportive and strength-based.

We cultivate caring and supportive relationships within ourselves and with our clinical staff to provide high quality of service to our clients.

Our interventions are scientifically and clinically supported by theories of the human psyche and behavior.

We go beyond the prescription of coping tools or techniques by exploring the messages the symptoms communicate as they show up in different forms of emotional and physiological pain.

“Therapy is certainly life changing, yet opening up to a complete stranger it could also be an anxiety provoking process at first. Even for us therapists, when we get to sit on the other side of the ‘couch’ ourselves. That’s why I approach this space with so much compassion and authenticity, promoting a safe environment to navigate those uncomfortable topics and painful life experiences.”

We speak your language.

As native Spanish speakers living in the U.S. ourselves, we have encountered barriers to high quality mental health treatment in our native language, Spanish.

According to the American Psychological Association (APA) only 5% of psychologists provide therapy in Spanish, yet Hispanics make up 19% of the nation’s population. We want to be an asset to clients who want to explore and navigate relational and emotional complexities in the language they feel most comfortable expressing their feelings.

Speaking your language not only refers to verbal communication. We understand the embedded cultural messages passed down from generations that form our core beliefs and complex identities. We also know that not speaking Spanish does not make you less Latinx/e.

We welcome all clients from any ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Beyond the cultural scope, we can help you understand the language of your symptoms.
